Tony Swansson | Project Management Adviser and Board Member
Mr. Swansson comes to Beyond Organix with an impressive track record of executive experience. Prior to working for Tribalinx, Mr. Swansson was a senior executive with Boeing for 17 years, where he led several multi-billion-dollar contracts and various divisions in the company. He was the General Manager of Space and Communications Services and an Executive Program manager for Ship Systems in Australia prior to relocating to the USA. Boeing selected Mr. Swansson as the Executive Project Manager for the Airport Security Program in the USA, a $1.5B project, and the Advanced Avionics Command & Control Systems Program in Phantom works – Boeing’s advanced R&D Division. Most recently, as Executive Program Manager for the Secure Border Initiative, Mr. Swansson led the team responsible for implementing a major international border security program. Before his leadership roles at Boeing, Mr. Swansson held management positions with the State Energy Commission of Western Australia and DKS Pty Ltd. Mr. Swansson also served for 20 years in the Royal Australian Navy.
Desmond Morgan | Finance, Technology, Venture Development Adviser and Board Member
Mr. Morgan has distinguished himself in the field of Business and Finance. His business career spans the areas of Management, Finance, Marketing and Information Technology. He also has experience in diverse industries including Agro-Processing. Financial Services and Information Technology. A graduate of Economics and International Finance, he also holds postgraduate qualifications in Management, Computer Science and International Marketing from top Universities in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Morgan is a leading entrepreneur: he is currently the Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blue Skye Communications Ltd. He also serves as a Director of National Properties Ltd, and is a past Vice President of the Association of Caribbean Exporters (ACE). Prior to joining the Beyond Organix Advisory Board, Desmond worked with Oracle leading one of the early prototypes of the database product line and with Anderson Consulting in the Mergers and Acquisition Division. With his vast experience in US and other countries these departments are very well looked after.
James McCorkle | Senior Adviser & Board Member
James has been an entrepreneur since his first business he formed in kindergarten and technology developer since 14 years of age. James has a keen understanding of trends and risk modeling in markets such as sustainable systems, cloud computing and communications. Since starting his technology career in 1981 as a student in Washington State’s first public high school Microsoft Computer Programming Class he has since been involved in workforce & economic development for well over 30 years.
The following are a few highlights of James’ career:
- Yahoo, MTV & ETrade – worked Michael Lisboa on first expansion of web companies into Spanish market and brick and mortar strategies (post dot.com boom).
- Wells Fargo – built cloud eCommerce application for all seasonal marketing displays through US
- Oakland Raiders – built first cloud based online video streaming application for Raider Fans that could not afford tickets to see Draft and other non-game related activities
- SunRun (developed record-breaking sales and client acquisition strategies)
- Vianeta (launched Broadvision’s first commercial ecommerce cloud application for healthcare industry. purchased by MModal annual revenue of $1.3 billion now)
- MedRemote (redesigned application and business development strategy. Medremote was purchased by Nuance and now has an annual revenue of $1 billion per year and is known as the inventor of Apple’s iPhone voice recognition application “Siri”)
- Global Imaging (built company’s presidential award winning sales and customer acquisition for first company to network copiers on both Mac and Microsoft networks. Purchased by Xerox)
James received his training in software development from Microsoft at Stadium High School, Risk Management from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and legal training from University of Virginia (US Army Staff Judge Advocate Generals Corp).
